McDonald’s U.S. president, key architect of transformation, to leave

BREAKING BUSINESS ALERT

Mike Andres, the president of McDonald’s U.S. business and a key architect of the fast food giant’s attempt to transform itself through initiatives like all-day breakfast, is leaving the company at years’ end. He will be replaced by Chris Kempczinski, a former Kraft executive who was brought on by McDonald’s as an executive vice president last year.
